Hello!
We’re Kristen and Josh. We are college sweethearts and have been together for 14 years. We have been married for 4 years and have two children. We are best friends, business partners, workout buddies and we spend just about every single day together!
Josh was blessed to retire from his first career at a young age which has given us the ability to pursue our dreams. I am a stay at home mom. We both enjoy buying real estate, developing residential and commercial properties, and other various business ventures together. We are our own bosses so to speak, so we are blessed to be able to create our own schedule everyday and be more hands on with our children.
Our family enjoys boating and all sorts of water activities which we can do right in our back yard! Our kids love going on golf cart rides, playing soccer in the yard, going to one of the many nearby parks, going to the beach, and traveling the world with our family.
When Josh and I have time away from the kids, we like to go kayaking, paddle boarding, working out, to dinner, and to get pedicures! Josh describes me as extremely caring, loyal, beautiful, and strong. I would describe Josh as being handsome, completely devoted to his family, extremely hardworking, and the funniest person I’ve ever met.
We have always known our hearts desired the beautiful gift of adoption. Josh has been curious about adoption since a young age as his oldest sister was adopted at birth. I knew adoption was something I wanted to pursue because my grandma grew up in foster care in Germany until she was 18. I knew that if I ever had the ability to adopt one day, I would. I also volunteered in Brazil at an orphanage. I helped care for a baby girl who stole my heart. After that experience, I knew my heart was meant for adoption.
Kristen and I are very excited to grow our family. When we were in college we’d lay in my dorm room and talk about how many kids we wanted and what we hoped our family would be like one day. We have always dreamed of having a big family so that we could grow old together and have lots of grandchildren.
As we can’t even begin to imagine what you are feeling right now, we hope you know that our hearts are with you and we pray that God gives you strength, guidance, and grace during this difficult time. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us and for considering our family for the beautiful gift of adoption.
